Dreams

Reviewed by Sandra Haney of Blackheath Guild

Dreams by Alison Davies is a delight.

From the moment I opened the book and and turned to the contents, I knew it was going to be different to any other publication on dreams I had read before. This was because, instead of the usual alphabetical rendition, with introductions that go on so long you are in danger of losing the thread, the chapters show a refreshing concept.

Cleverly split into categories that point towards symbolic themes for deciphering your dreams and tied together with an eloquent narrative, it is easy to follow. It also  covers a wide spectrum; exercises encourage you to delve deeper into the reasons behind your dream, thus making for a more personal experience, and useful pointers help you explore your intuitive self to examine your dream from a different perspective.

The striking illustrations throughout only add to the experience. Encapsulated in one beautifully packaged publication, this book is perfect for both the dream enthusiast and those just dipping their toe into the phenomena of dreams.
