Millicent Fawcett Statue Unveiling

After a long campaign, a statue of Millicent Fawcett will be unveiled in Parliament Square, London tomorrow - Tuesday 24th April 2018.  It will be one of the most significant statues of our time.

The first of a woman in the square, it will stand alongside those of men including Mahatma Gandhi and Winston Churchill. It will also be the first on the square created by a woman - Turner Prize-winning Gillian Wearing OBE.
