Responses to TG letters regarding 2018 mandates
Since the 2018 AGM in Brighton, TG has been in touch with various Government bodies to let them know about our two new mandates, on banning marriage under the age if 18 and on better monitoring, management and reporting of asbestos in schools and other educational facilities.
So far, we have received responses from the Department of Education, the Scottish Government and the Welsh Government, and you can read their responses below:

In 1983, Cindy Lauper told us that ‘Girls just want to have fun’ and we proved her right at our 80s night on 19th August.
We were a cheerful group with some of our number clad in 80s ‘going out’ favourites of bright wigs, leg warmers and fingerless gloves plus oversized earrings and clusters of necklaces.
