Bridleway Townswomen's Guild was established 60 years ago. We have several popular activity groups which meet regularly and include a Book Club, Scrabble, Cribbage, Rummikub, Canasta and an Arts and Crafts Section. The Garden Club is another favourite which runs from March to October. The group have plant swaps and visit gardens, members' gardens and garden centres locally. We also visit venues in London and further afield. We have a coffee morning once a month at a local restaurant for members to catch up with each other and have a general chat. In addition to the above groups we organise outings. Our New Year lunch is always popular when usually approximately 25 members attend a local restaurant for a nice meal. Our monthly meetings are always very enjoyable, varied and well attended. At the meeting we discuss business, have a speaker or in house social evening, cup of tea/coffee with biscuits and a raffle. We also have a card and book stall each month to raise money towards our funds.
We are always pleased for new members to join our guild and they can be sure to receive a warm and friendly welcome.
