You are here: > About TG > People > Development Officers

A Development Officer is an experienced member who has volunteered to set up new Guilds and support recruitment within a defined area. The role is not intended to replace Federations, who we still encourage to set up new Guilds, but to supplement it, especially in areas where TG may be less well represented.

Development Officers welcome suggestions from members and non members as to where a new Guild might be welcome. They also welcome offers of assistance.

Currently the Development Officers and their agreed areas are:

Barbara Cobain - Liverpool and the Wirral
Lynda Young - East Anglia and Essex
Maggie Chilton - Derbyshire and South Yorkshire
Margaret Key - West Midlands and Staffordshire
Sheila Baker - Northamptonshire
Val Barker - Dorset

Development Officers can be contacted through TGHQ - please put the name of the person you wish to contact in the subject line. - click here for the contact page

No Development Officer in your area but you have spotted a need? Please let us know the location of the proposed guild in the subject line. Please also tell us the County of your location to help us identify the right person to follow this up - click here for the contact page

If you would be prepared to become a Development Officer yourself, please email contact@the-tg.com and we will send you more information.
