Because travelling sometimes deters members from attending events, we have devised a new national competition where no travel is needed.
Most of you will have played Monopoly in the past, and many will have a set tucked away in a cupboard. So why not join in? You can play at a Guild meeting – or even have an inter-Guild Federation competition. And taking part in a national TG competition is even one of the TG ’29 to ’19 Challenges.
All participants will play to the same rules. Briefly, each game will be for two to four players, each player will start with a set amount of money, the game will last one hour, the winner will be the person with the most money at the end – and it will be lots of fun!
Then, before the end of February 2020, simply return the scoresheet to TGHQ with details of the highest score achieved. The highest-scoring entry of all will receive a prize.

National Photography Competition
Inspired by The People’s Picture, TG is launching a photographic competition with the theme of ‘Celebrating Women’. We will not be judging the competition until 2020 and so you have a whole year to capture an image which expresses what that theme means to you.
We will have separate categories for colour photographs and for black and white photographs. Each category will have its own winner, who will be presented with a certificate, and we will also choose an overall winner who will receive a trophy. Winning photographs will be on display at the 2020 AGM. At this stage, we cannot confirm exactly who will be on the judging panel.
How to enter:
Each member can submit up to two photographs. These can be two colour, two black and white or one of each.
Photographs must be sent by post, and printed at 6” x 4” (10cm x 15cm). Entries sent by email cannot be accepted.
On the reverse of your photograph(s), please include your name, address, member ID and Guild. Enclose an SAE with your entry if you would like it returned after judging, otherwise we will not send it back to you.
Entries must be received at TGHQ by Friday 28th February 2020. Late entries will not be included in judging. Postal details can be found, here
